Pecan Nut Butter

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

3 C Toasted Pecans

1/2 C Pecan Oil

1 tsp Salt

1 T Honey

DIRECTIONS:

  • In a 375 Degree oven toast 3 Cups of pecans for approximately 5 minutes.
  • Put toasted pecans into a food processor with 1/4 C of Pecan oil or another light tasting oil.
  • Blend for 1 minute, stopping once and a while to scrap down the sides.
  • Add 1/4 C more of Pecan oil and blend for another 3 minutes, scraping the sides like before.
  • Once it is the consistency of peanut butter, add the rest of the ingredients.  Blend until combined.
  • Eat right away or place in a container in the fridge until use.  Will last several weeks refrigerated and doesn't get hard when it is cold.

Enjoy!
